چکیده
We introduce a novel technique that utilizes physics-driven deep learning method to reconstruct the dense matter equation of state from neutron star observables, particularly masses and radii. The proposed framework involves two neural networks: one optimize EoS using Automatic Differentiation in unsupervised scheme; pre-trained network solve Tolman–Oppenheimer–Volkoff (TOV) equations. gradient-based optimization process incorporates Bayesian picture into framework. reconstructed is proven be consistent with results conventional methods. Furthermore, resulting tidal deformation agreement limits obtained gravitational wave event, GW170817.

Neutron Star Radii, Core-collapse Supernovae, and the Equation of State of Dense Matter
Neutron star mass and radius measurements are becoming sufficiently accurate as to offer astrophysical constraints on the properties of neutron-rich matter near the nuclear saturation density. Current observations, which imply that the radius of a 1.4 solar mass neutron star lies between 10.4 and 12.9 km (95% confidence), also imply that 43 < L < 67 MeV, where L is a parameter describing the sl...
متن کاملConstraints on the High-density Nuclear Equation of State from Neutron Star Observables
A forefront area of modern research concerns the exploration of the properties of ultra-dense nuclear matter and the determination of the equation of state (EoS)–the relation between pressure, temperature and density–of such matter. Experimentally, relativistic heavy-ion collision experiments enable physicists to cast a brief glance at hot and ultra-dense matter for times as short as about 10 s...
متن کاملNeutron Star Matter Equation of State and Gravitational Wave Emission
The EOS of strongly interacting matter at densities ten to fifteen orders of magnitude larger than the typical density of terrestrial macroscopic objects determines a number of neutron star properties, including the pattern of gravitational waves emitted following the excitation of nonradial oscillation modes. This paper reviews some of the approaches employed to model neutron star matter, as w...
متن کاملMeasurements of the Mass and Radius of a Neutron Star: consequences for the Equation of State of dense nuclear matter
The neutron star low-mass X-ray binary EXO 0748-676 started a transition from outburst to quiescence in 2008, after more than 24 years of continuous accretion. Here, I use the spectral fitting package XSPEC to analyse the X-ray spectra of four XMM-Newton observations, elapsing a period of over four years, that started in March 2009. I confirm that cooling NS models, modified by interstellar abs...
متن کاملConstraints on the equation of state of ultra - dense matter from observations of neutron stars
I discuss constraints on the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear densities that can be derived from observations of neutron stars. I focus on recent work on Vela X-1, which may well be substantially more massive than the canonical 1.4 M ⊙ , and on the prospects offered by the 'isolated' or 'thermally-emitting' neutron stars. 1. The equation of state for ultra-dense matter To understand...
